African sisal Kikondo basket / African shopping bag

Description

This African basket is made with colored sisal (black and brown)

It is made by the women from the Eastern community of Kenya. The mothers would give the baskets to their daughters during weddings as gifts.

The basket has leather handles to carry along while going to the market.
